Naureen is a serial entrepreneur and lending specialist with 12 years of experience in digital lending, risk management and microfinance. She founded two companies including Tez Financial Services, Pakistan’s first licensed FinTech and CheckIn Solutions.

Tez became the first FinTech in Pakistan to be granted a Non-Bank Financial Company (NBFC) license in 2018 and ever since carved out a specialized niche in the consumer lending space providing nano-loans to the unbanked and underbanked masses across 160+ cities in Pakistan. Tez marked the first fintech M&A deal in Pakistan being acquired by ZoodPay – the leading digital lending platform for e-commerce in the Middle East and Central Asia.

Naureen also co-founded CheckIn Solutions, a microfinance-focused fintech. Her expertise is supplemented by her experience in credit ratings having worked with The Pakistan Credit Rating Agency (PACRA) specializing in Microfinance, Banking, and NBFCs. Her role as an Assessor of the SMART Campaign has been instrumental in strengthening her calling to accelerating financial inclusion.

Naureen served as the Head of Finance and Planning at Shopistan – an end to end managed e-commerce service provider and has been a member of The Pakistan Society for Planned Parenthood – an NGO working on women empowerment, planned parenthood, education and mental health. Naureen has studied the field of Inclusive Finance at the Harvard Business School which lends her expertise and global insights into financial inclusion. With a degree in finance and as a member of the CFA community, she is well versed in the intricacies of the financial world.

Naureen has been featured in Forbes, Reuters (Salaam Gateway), Women in Fintech Powerlist, Business Financing UK and other renowned global publications recognizing leaders and game changers around the world. Naureen has represented Pakistan on various global challenges and platforms, being the winner of the Visa Everywhere Initiative Global Challenge, the SDG Challenge – RFI Summit and She Loves Tech.
