Ammar Hanafi

Ammar Hanafi is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Moment Ventures. Moment is focused on early stage investments in teams targeting the future of work and industries. Ammar’s active portfolio includes AltoIRA, Aviz Networks, Katanemo, Rafay Systems, Rune Labs, and Turing Labs. 

Ammar holds a BS in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University and an MBA from Stanford University. Prior to founding Moment, Ammar was at Alloy Ventures where he led investments in Mavenir Systems, Inc. (IPO), Agari Data (acquired) and Cortina Systems, Inc. (acquired) among others. Ammar previously served as VP of Corporate Development at Cisco Systems where he led over 50 acquisitions and $750 million in venture capital investments.
