Asad Hashamali

Asad Hashamali is the host of “Behind the Grind” a podcast which aims to highlight the stories and journeys of entrepreneurs, leaders, athletes and professionals challenging the status quo. Since 2018, Asad has used the podcast to highlight his own journey of growth and document his hustle towards becoming an entrepreneur and leader.

When he’s not in a deep dive with his podcast guests, Asad is running operations of his own venture as the Co-Founder of Alt Academy, an edtech company aiming to address the gap in high quality and affordable content for Advanced Level education. Alt Academy has served over 60,000 students all over the world and has successfully managed to establish a subscription model to serve its students better. Prior to founding Alt Academy, Asad also Co-Founded Backspace, a boutique media and design consultancy firm with a mission to help small businesses communicate better and stick with their audiences.
