Azima Dhanjee is the Co-Founder & CEO of ConnectHear, a social enterprise dedicated to sign language accessibility in Pakistan. Raised by deaf parents, Azima is a Child of Deaf Adult (CODA) and a proud advocate for the deaf community. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration (Class of 2020) and has been recognized as a Pride of Pakistan by ISPR.
ConnectHear, founded with two friends, has developed the country’s first sign language recognition A.I. Azima is a Diana Award recipient and has been featured in Forbes and other publications. Under her leadership, ConnectHear has won several accolades, including the TiE Women Global Competition and the Young Innovators Award by the World Summit Award.
Azima has presented on Social Entrepreneurship, Disability Rights, and Leadership at various national and international forums. She has also represented Pakistan in Kenya, Senegal, and the United States as a Cultural Exchange Ambassador. Committed to advancing social entrepreneurship, she continues to explore innovative ways to support differently-abled individuals through ConnectHear.
