Dania Mukhtar

Dania Mukhtar is the Meta Head of Public Policy for Pakistan. She focuses on emerging internet policy challenges related to freedom of expression, privacy, safety, social innovation and economic growth. She holds a B.A.-LL.B. degree from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). She was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship in 2016 and pursued an LL.M. degree from Columbia University.

During her legal career, she has appeared before the High Court, civil courts and various administrative agencies and tribunals. She has previously worked with the Chief Justice at the Supreme Court of Pakistan as a research associate/law clerk. Dania has also served as a Member of the ‘Gender Equality and Diversity Committee’ and Advisor to the ‘Legal Education & Professional Training Committee’ of the Lahore High Court Bar Association.
