Dr. Ayesha Mian is a US-trained psychiatrist specializing in adult, child, and adolescent mental health. With extensive experience in teaching, leadership development, and program design, she established Pakistan’s first child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship. Her contributions have earned international recognition, including awards from the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), the American College of Psychiatrists, and the University of Missouri. A Distinguished Fellow of AACAP and Senior Fellow of the UK’s Higher Education Academy, Dr. Mian also serves on the boards of several organizations focused on health, education, and youth development. In 2021, she co-founded Synapse, Pakistan Neuroscience Institute, a center of excellence advancing holistic mental health and neuroscience in Pakistan.
