Monis Rahman is an innovative Pakistani entrepreneur recognized for his significant contributions to the country’s digital economy. In 2006, he founded Rozee, an online job platform that transitioned newspaper job listings from offline to online. More recently under his leadership, Rozee once again disrupted traditional recruitment with the launch of rozeegpt.ai, a pioneering AI-first SaaS recruitment platform.
In 2017, Monis co-founded SimSim, Pakistan’s first smartphone mobile wallet, in collaboration with FINCA Microfinance Bank. Monis has extensive experience working with regulators such as the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and the State Bank of Pakistan under various fintech licensing regimes. Through Dukan, he developed digital payment platforms and data-led supply chain lending solutions for undocumented merchants and SMEs in emerging markets.
His work has been recognized by numerous publications including Forbes, which named him among the “Ten Big Hitting Asian Businessmen Under 50” in 2011. Additionally, he holds multiple U.S. patents for innovations in areas including microprocessor branch prediction and image security.
