
Naureen is a serial entrepreneur and digital lending specialist with over 13 years of experience in digital finance, risk management, and microfinance. She is the founder of Tez Financial Services, Pakistan’s first fintech company to secure an NBFC (Non-Bank Financial Company) license, and CheckIn Solutions. Under her leadership, Tez pioneered consumer lending for unbanked and underbanked communities and became Pakistan’s first fintech to reach an M&A milestone in 2022, when it was acquired by Zood. As CEO of Zood’s Pakistan office, Naureen oversees local operations and global projects for the group.
In addition to her entrepreneurial roles, Naureen serves on various company boards and has been instrumental in shaping financial inclusion policies, working alongside regulators and multilateral organizations. Her experience includes credit assessment at PACRA, with a focus on microfinance and NBFCs, and as Head of Finance and Planning at Shopistan, an e-commerce services provider. She has also contributed to initiatives on women’s empowerment and reproductive health through her involvement with The Pakistan Society for Planned Parenthood.
Naureen’s work has been internationally recognized, with features in Forbes, Reuters, the Women in Fintech Powerlist, and other publications highlighting her as a global leader in financial innovation and inclusion. With studies in Inclusive Finance at Harvard Business School and a CFA affiliation, she brings a deep understanding of finance and a commitment to expanding access to essential financial services.
