Ramsha Jahangir is a journalist and policy expert specializing in technology and human rights. Ramsha has extensively reported on internet censorship, surveillance, digital politics, and disinformation in Pakistan. Currently, she leads policy and communications at the Global Network Initiative.

Her investigative work has been published in Coda Story, Herald Magazine, Dawn’s EOS Magazine, and Media Matters for Democracy’s SheConnect series. She has received four national journalism awards for her ‘in-depth and tenacious coverage of misinformation in Pakistan. Ramsha holds a Master’s in Journalism, Media, and Globalisation from the University of Amsterdam and received the Erasmus Mundus Journalism scholarship.
