Zehra Aneek is a leader with +20 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, sustainable finance, cleantech, and corporate governance. Currently, she is Director of Sustainability and Climate Change at EY Pakistan. Previously, she held senior roles at K-Electric Limited, British American Tobacco, KFC Pakistan, and Chevron.
She is a member of the International Society for Sustainability Professionals (ISSP-USA), the Energy Expert Platform (GWNET), and an associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). Zehra is also a member of WePower (World Bank) and serves on the regional advisory board of Climate Launchpad.
As Chairperson of LEAN-IN Pakistan’s ‘Energy Circle,’ she mentors Women in Social Enterprise and Girl2023. Zehra is on the Board of Trustees at Concern for Children and the advisory board of ROSHNI, a nonprofit supporting child safety. She has pioneered women empowerment projects focused on underprivileged women and regularly speaks at national and global forums on women empowerment, climate, energy, and ESG. She also serves on the jury for various global environmental and social initiatives.
